Today's Activities

DLT: By the end of class, students will be able to create a Layer Mask using Photoshop. They will demonstrate this by combining images using a Layer Mask on their Practice Collage
  1. Continue the Practice Collage. Create a new doc in Photoshop - 8 x 10 in 150 ppi with a portrait orientation
    Save as PracticeCollage-YourName.psd
    Use layer masks and photoshop effects to combine images.
    Use only the images linked below for your class:
  2. Make a copy of this gDoc, Name it Collage Images Your Name and share it with dandabikeman. Then submit to the Jupiter Assignment - Collage Images gDoc.

    Save your Tutorial as LayerMaskTut-YourName.psd
  2. Update or revise your Artist Studies Google Doc to include the artist in this order:
    Romare Bearden on top, then Henri Matisse, Seveso, Banksy, Rivera, Da Vinci, Warhol, and Picasso (on the bottom).
    Make sure to document the source of each image. Then ask to have it re-graded (as well as past paychecks)
  3. Revise the Elements of Art & Principles of Design Slide Show. Bring you rubric (and paycheck 4) to have it re-graded (@ SMI or Tutoring)
  4. Complete additional Selection Exercises
